Have you ever wondered how much value expense reporting software can add to your organization? Two recent Certify case studies illustrate the great value offered by automated expense report management, and how easy it is to implement.

Saddle Creek Logistics Services began working with Certify in 2011, and have been recording and reimbursing expenses with ease ever since. The company has more than 2,000 employees, and since working with Certify, they have kept accurate and organized T&E records.

"Certify is truly an intuitive and easy-to-use tool, but above all the company is so reactive to correct or respond to customer input," said Eric Newman, corporate controller at Saddle Creek Logistics Services.

Previously, Saddle Creek had been using a complicated expense management process, requiring employees to print their expense reports, attach paper receipts, and submit them for approval. Once approved, slow reimbursements caused considerable employee dissatisfaction. Saddle Creek eventually had to eliminate the manual expense process; they were unable to integrate the process with modern computer systems.

Today, more than 500 Saddle Creek employees use Certify, and as a result, the company is able to plan a more accurate T&E budget. Better yet, the company has saved more than $40,000 thanks to the elimination of duplicate expenses and the ability to flag out-of-policy expenses. Saddle Creek was even able to reassign an accounting employee to another department, saving the company additional salary-related costs.
