Today most of the companies
communicate with their consumers through email. Email is used to increase sales
through sales promotions and to educate people about products and services.
Messages also can include branding with logos and / or tag lines, and they can
offer direct response tools like reply links, emails, telephone and fax
numbers, etc.
Subject line is the key of your
email marketing. It decides whether the reader will open it or not? You get a
lot of email yourself, don't you? What you see first when you receive a new
mail in your mail-inbox? The first information you might need to know is who is
the sender of the mail, right? That's what most people look at first. They take
second look on information in subject line.
Always keep the subject line of
email brief. Curiosity is a strong and powerful human trait that email
marketers should use to make their marketing emails pass the very common 'must
open, must read' test. The other very human trait which should be known for a
better email marketing campaign is to understand and use is 'me'. The
recipients of your email campaign ask a very important single question. That
question is, 'What is there in it for me?" The key word is 'me'.
When you start an email marketing
campaign, you never start it with the Marketing email, do you? If you, than
you're really losing lots of bugs. On this Email marketing campaigns never
start with a marketing email. They are started by an opening email. The actual
marketing email is sent very late. The Product is virtually sold first.
Simultaneous occurrence of selling and marketing email is an absolute 'no-no'
in Email marketing. You too could accomplish it. Your first pre sale message can
announce the fact that this product or service is 'Coming Soon'. The next
pre sale message can announce that the Product will arrive eminently.....however
it’s yet to arrive. You might even ask the members of your list to pre order
product so that they will definitely get it. Reselling; it’s not that
important, it is 100% vital part of Email marketing and one that you need to
use if you want to become an effective Email marketer. If you resale your
product effectively all of the selling work will have already been done and you
can just move on counting your profits.
Always
double check your spellings through Spell check and other tools. Never
"shout" or use all capital letters. The subject of your marketing
email is the key of the total email. Everybody agrees? You will never find a
single Email marketer who would disagree. However, while the aim of the subject
is to convince the recipient to open and read the email, the aim of the body of
a marketing email is to convince the recipient to take action and actually
purchase the product that is being recommended to him. So, always make your
emails brief; descriptive and short. Rewriting the text on your email message
with the above mentioned strategies can improve your sales results. So, always
focus on marketing copy that can help readers feel more comfortable.
